FAIRWAYS - What's in a NAME?
The Fairways Estate - Malpas Road / Walpole Road / Trafford Crescent...
I was born in 1972 and grew up in Trafford Crescent, Runcorn, and then moved to Walpole Road a few years later. My school years were Pewithall & The Heath. I was talking recently to my old neighbour in Trafford Crescent, who told me that when the houses were being built, the housebuilder had the building site / show homes named as The Fairways. 50 years later, our new venture, without knowing this info, became The Fairways Hospitality Group..... Marc Smith.
